Adventure is Out There
From our friends at North Dakota Tourism
By Samantha Baker
After surviving blizzards, snow-icanes and dozens of polar vortices it’s not hard to have a ferocious case of spring fever. What better way to say goodbye to those icy winter days than with some outdoor exploring in the warm spring sun.
No matter your location — middle-of-nowhere Iowa or legendary North Dakota (yes, people exist in North Dakota) — there are plenty of activities to enjoy outside before it gets too hot to leave the air conditioning. And if you need some ideas, the North Dakota Tourism has a few standard suggestions — golf, baseball and hiking — and a few that we really love, like bird watching, fishing and camping.
No matter what you enjoy, spring is the most excellent time to get out of the house. So, get off the computer and go outside, explore the world around you.

North Dakota writers unite for a Mid-April workshop
From The North Dakota Department of Commerce
Writers tend to congregate with other writers. Bouncing ideas off other people just helps the creative process. Heck, it can be intellectually invigorating just to be with eccentric people. The great part about writing is that it can happen anywhere — even in North Dakota…
