Spring Fare
From our friends at Eat it Kansas City.
By Samantha Baker
It’s finally that time of year again — ready the grill, chill the booze and light the bonfire, spring has officially arrived and summer is right around the corner. There is no better way to celebrate the seasonal change than with some spring-inspired fare.
Whether it’s sipping fruit-infused drinks or chowing down on a juicy burger, local restaurants are now switching to spring menus after a long and dreadful winter.
Take Kansas City, for example. Local restaurants Tannin Wine Bar and Red Door Woodfire Kitchen and Bar are using fresh ingredients to add a dash of spring to many of their entrées and drinks. Whether you enjoy going out for dinner or staying in and cooking, take a note from the local cuisine in regards to what to eat now that the weather warmed up.

Infusing Spring Flavors into Tasty Liquor
From our friends at Mpls. St. Paul Magazine
Spring is in the air. Do you know what that means? Farmers markets are right around the corner. What could possibly be better than strolling along in the warm sun, buying freshly picked fruits, herbs or vegetables from local distributors? Adding a dash of liquor to the mixture, of course.
