Summer in Chicago

Summer: A time for new experiences, exploring and most of all, fun. And what could possibly be more fun than going on adventures around the great city of Chicago? With countless festivals, events and parades occurring throughout the summer, there’s always an excuse to celebrate the season in the Windy City.
For food and alcohol enthusiasts, there are tons of tasting events scattered throughout the summer. Some popular options: Chicago Craft Beer Week (May 15-25), Taste of Chicago (July 9-13) and Taste of Greektown (August 23 and 24) — just to name a few.
If you’re a big live music fan, Chicago is the place to be. Each week at Grant Park a classical concert is held for free, which is definitely worth checking out. Nothing beats a beautiful warm evening under the stars listening to the classics. And between Spring Awakening (June 13-15), Pitchfork Music Festival (July 18-20) and Lollapalooza (August 1-3), there is a little something for the music lover in everyone to experience this summer.

Adventure is Out There
From our friends at North Dakota Tourism
After surviving blizzards, snow-icanes and dozens of polar vortices it’s not hard to have a ferocious case of spring fever. What better way to say goodbye to those icy winter days than with some outdoor exploring in the warm spring sun.
